The PGA REACH Colorado Foundation works daily to support our over 900 Colorado PGA of America Golf Professionals to make a difference in our local communities. Programming ensures that, regardless of your age or background, cost will never inhibit your involvement and enjoyment of the game of golf. The mission of the PGA REACH Colorado Foundation is to positively impact the lives of youth, military, and diverse populations by enabling access to PGA of America Golf Professionals, PGA Sections, and the game of golf.
PGA HOPE is a program under the PGA REACH Colorado Foundation and has a mission unlike any other -- to change and save Veterans' and active-duty military Service Members' lives through the power of golf. PGA HOPE introduces and teaches golf to Veterans and Active Duty Military to enhance their physical, mental, social and emotional well-being. Led by PGA of America Golf Professionals Certified in HOPE, the program is inclusive of a developmental 6 week curriculum. All programs are provided at no cost to all participating Veterans.
PGA HOPE has a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), which enables direct referrals to the PGA HOPE program as a form of therapy.
